Dear Friend in the Lord,

Joy of Truth: In today’s Gospel, Jesus praises His Father for revealing the Truth of Salvation to mere children, instead of the learned.  When children encounter the Truth of God, their hearts are filled with Joy, Peace and Love.  However, adults tend to distort the Truth with their prejudices, and often push God aside in their lives.

Fr Philip Heng, S.J

Jesus exclaimed, ‘I bless you, Father, Lord of heaven and of earth, for hiding these things from the learned and the clever and revealing them to little children. Yes, Father, for that is what it pleased you to do. Everything has been entrusted to me by my Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father, just as no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.’

TODAY'S POINTERS ON GOD'S WORD
