John 3:13-17
Jesus said to Nicodemus: ‘No one has gone up to heaven except the one who came down from heaven, the Son of Man who is in heaven; and the Son of Man must be lifted up as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.
‘Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not be lost but may have eternal life.
‘For God sent his Son into the world not to condemn the world, but so that through him the world might be saved.’

- God is our loving Father who longs to have every one of us, His sons and daughters, return home to His heavenly kingdom. St Augustine says, God loves each one of us as if there is only one of us to love.
- God showed us that His love for us is infinite and unconditional when He sent His Son to proclaim the Truth of His Will, He did not spare Him from His sufferings and death to save all of us.
- Pray to love God for the graces to place Him first in your life; to be consume and transformed by God’s love, to desire Him above all else and to love what God loves.
