Dear Friend in the Lord,
God’s Word: In today’s Gospel, as a woman praised Mary for being the Mother of Jesus, He replied, “Still happier those who hear the Word of God and keep it.” It is God’s Word that created everything that exist: the universe, human beings and sent Jesus, the Word Incarnate, to offer us Eternal Life; these are the most precious gift, in our lives.

As Jesus was speaking, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said, ‘Happy the womb that bore you and the breasts you sucked!’
But he replied, ‘Still happier those who hear the word of God and keep it!’
