Dear Friend in the Lord,
“Jesus’ Love for His Mother” – Faith: In today’s Gospel, even as Jesus was Suffering immensely, He never forgot His Beloved Mother: He entrusted the whole Church (represented by John) to His Mother. And, for believers, to accept Her as our Mother. Ponder on, “Do we turn to Mary, to care for, intercede, inspire and be our “Model of Faith” in the living of our faith daily?”

John 19:25-27
Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala.
Seeing his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing near her, Jesus said to his mother, Woman, this is your son.’’ Then to the disciple he said, ‘This is your mother.’ And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.
